We collect the information you provide when you create an account and build your profile, such as your name, email, governorate, skills, availability, languages, causes of interest, and any content you post (applications, messages, reviews). We also collect basic usage data to operate the service.
We use your information to match volunteers with projects, display profiles and organizations, enable applications and messaging, send service notifications and digests, and improve the Platform. We do not sell your personal data.
Your volunteer profile (name, governorate, skills, hours, badges, and ratings) may be visible to organizations and other users to facilitate matching. Your email and password are never shown publicly.
We may send you transactional emails (e.g., application status, weekly project digests). These are tied to your volunteering activity on the Platform.
Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing, and sessions use secure tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal data at any time through your account or by contacting us.
The Platform is intended for users who can lawfully consent to these terms. If you are a minor, use the Platform only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.
